TAA Tools
CLRUSRIDX       CLEAR USER INDEX                       TAAIDXE

The Clear User Index  command clears the entries from  an existing user
index.   Any user  index may  be specified  (not just those  created by
the TAA CRTUSRIDX command).

A typical command would be:

             CLRUSRIDX     USRIDX(xxx)

Any existing entries in the user index would be cleared.

CLRUSRIDX escape messages you can monitor for
---------------------------------------------

None.  Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.

Command parameters                                    *CMD
------------------

   USRIDX        The   qualified  name  of  the  user  index  to  clear
                 entries for.   The  library value  defaults to  *LIBL.
                 *CURLIB may also be used.

Restrictions
------------

None.

Prerequisites
-------------

The following TAA Tools must be on your system:

     EDTVAR          Edit variable
     SNDCOMPMSG      Send completion message
     SNDESCINF       Send escape information
     SNDESCMSG       Send escape message
     USRIDX          User index

The TAAIDXEC  source member is used  to create a module.   The TAAIDXEC
program is created from the module by CRTPGM.
