The  Display User  Index  Attributes  command  displays or  prints  the
attributes  of a  user index.   Any  user index  may be  specified (not
just those created by the TAA CRTUSRIDX command).

Displaying  a user  index resets  the number  of retrieves  kept within
the object after the information  is displayed.  This is caused  by the
RTVUSRIDXA sub  tool which invokes an  API which resets  the 'number of
retrieves'.

A typical command would be:

             DSPUSRIDXA    USRIDX(xxx)

The attributes of the user index would be displayed.

Reset of the number of retrieves
--------------------------------

DSPUSRIDXA  uses  the  RTVUSRIDXA  TAA command  which  uses  an  API to
retrieve the attributes.   The API will  reset the number of  retrieves
each time  it is used.   Consequently, if the DSPUSRIDXA  command shows
a  number of retrieves has  occurred, a second use  of the command will
show the value as 0.

DSPUSRIDXA escape messages you can monitor for

None.  Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.

Command parameters                                    *CMD
------------------

   USRIDX        The qualified name  of the user  index to display  the
                 attributes  for.    The  library   value  defaults  to
                 *LIBL.  *CURLIB may also be used.

   OUTPUT        How  to  output the  results.   *  is  the default  to
                 display  the  attributes  if  the  command  is entered
                 interactively.

                 If  the command  is  entered  in batch  or  *PRINT  is
                 specified, a spooled file is output.
