The Check  Directory Entry  command checks  the distribution  directory
(see  WRKDIRE) using the  outfile of DSPDIRE  to determine if  the full
user  ID  (ID, address,  and description)  exist.   If not,  TAA9894 is
sent as an escape message.

A typical command would be:

             CHKDIRE      USERID(xxx yyy 'aaa bbb ccc')

If a  perfect match is  found, the  command completes normally.   If  a
perfect match is not found, TAA9894 is sent as an escape message.

CHKDIRE escape messages you can monitor for

      TAA9894    The user ID value does not exist.

Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.

Command parameters                                    *CMD
------------------

   USRID         A 3 part parameter that is required.

                 Part  1  is   the  user  ID  as  it   appears  in  the
                 distribution directory.

                 Part   2  is  the   address  as  it   appears  in  the
                 distribution directory.

                 Part  3 is  the  description  as  it  appears  in  the
                 distribution  directory.   *FIRST is  the default  and
                 means the  first entry that matches  the first 2 parts
                 of the USERID.
