CHKMSGID CHECK MESSAGE ID TAAMSJV |
The Check Message ID command checks if a message ID exists in a
message file. The command completes normally if the message ID
exists and sends TAA9891 as an escape message if it does not.
A typical command would be:
CHKMSGID MSGID(xxxnnnn) MSGF(yyyy)
CHKMSGID escape messages you can monitor for

TAA9891 The message ID does not exist.
Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.
CHKMSGID Command parameters *CMD
---------------------------
MSGID The message ID to be checked.
MSGF The message file containing the message ID. The
library qualifier defaults to *LIBL. A specific
library or the special value *CURLIB could be used.
