CPYDIRE COPY DIRECTORY ENTRY TAADSTH |
The Copy Directory Entry command retrieves information about the From
User ID from the Directory Entries (as seen with WRKDIRE) and prompts
for a new entry using ADDDIRE. The existing values for the From User
ID are used as the defaults for ADDDIRE with the exceptions of the
USRID, USER, and SYSNAME parameters.
The values entered for To User ID become the defaults for USRID.
If the To User name is the same as the To User Address, the To User
must be an existing profile and the following defaults are used:
USRPRF The name of the To User ID
SYSNAME The name of the current system
If the To User ID differs from the To User Address, the defaults
become:
USRPRF *NONE
SYSNAME The name of the To User Address
You must have *ALLOBJ special authority to use CPYDIRE and the
command may only be used in an interactive job.
A typical command would be:
CPYDIRE FROMUSRID(USER1 USER1) TOUSRID(USER2 USER2)
