The Display  Date command  provides a  convenient method of  displaying
information about  the current date  or any date  in a range  of Jan 1,
1941  to Dec  31, 2040.   The fully  spelled out  date, the  day of the
week, the week of the year, and other values are shown.

A typical command would be:

              DSPDAT   DATE(010122)

The date information for Jan 1, 2022 would be displayed.

DSPDAT escape messages you can monitor for
------------------------------------------

None.  Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.

DSPDAT Command parameters                             *CMD
-------------------------

   DATE          The date  in job format.   The  default is *TODAY  for
                 today's date.

                 A date may  be entered in the range of  Jan 1, 1941 to
                 Dec 31, 2040.

   OUTPUT        How  to  output the  results.    * is  the  default to
                 display the  spooled file  if the  command is  entered
                 interactively.  The  spooled file is deleted  after it
                 is displayed.

                 If  the  command  is entered  in  batch  or *PRINT  is
                 specified, the spooled  file is  output and  retained.


Restrictions
------------

The date must be in a range of Jan 1, 1941 to Dec 31, 2040.
