DSPLFMD DISPLAY LF MEMBER DESCRIPTION TAADBKQ |
The Display Logical File Member Description command displays or
prints information about a logical file member. The first based on
physical file member information is also displayed.
A typical command would be:
DSPLFMD FILE(xxx)
The first logical file member in the file would be displayed.
The display varies depending on whether the access path is keyed or
arrival. If an arrival sequence access path exists, only the
meaningful information is displayed.
DSPLFMD escape messages you can monitor for

None. Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.
Command parameters *CMD
------------------
FILE The qualified name of the logical file to display
the member for. The library value defaults to
*LIBL. *CURLIB may also be used.
MBR The member to be displayed. The default is *FIRST.
A specific member name or *LAST may be entered.
OUTPUT How to output the results. * is the default to
present an interactive display if the command is
entered interactively.
If the command is entered in batch or *PRINT is
specified, a spooled file is output.
