RTVHOMDIR       RETRIEVE HOME DIRECTORY                TAASEGE

The Retrieve Home  Directory command retrieves the home  directory from
the user  profile for a  named user.   You must have  *USE authority to
the  user profile  to retrieve  the information  for a profile  that is
not your  own.  The  information is  not available on  RTVUSRPRF.   The
RtvUsrInf API is used to extract the information.

A typical series of commands would be:

             DCL           &HOMDIR *CHAR LEN(2048)
              .
             RTVHOMDIR     HOMDIR(&HOMDIR)

RTVHOMDIR escape messages you can monitor for

None.  Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.

Command parameters                                    *CMD
------------------

   USRPRF        The name  of the user  profile to retrieve from.   The
                 default is *CURRENT for the current user.

   HOMDIR        The  home directory  from the  user profile.   This is
                 an optional  return  variable  that if  used  must  be
                 declared as *CHAR LEN(2048).

   HOMDIRLEN     The  length  of  the  directory entry.    This  is  an
                 optional   return  variable  that  if   used  must  be
                 declared as *DEC LEN(7 0).

Restrictions
------------

You must have  *USE authority to  a retrieve from a  user profile  that
is not your own.

Prerequisites

The following TAA Tools must be on your system:

     SNDESCINF       Send escape information
