The  Work   Metric  command  provides   a  work  display   that  allows
conversions  of  distance, weight,  area,  and  liquid volumes  to/from
metric  values.  For example,  you can enter a  value in meters and see
the results in feet  and inches or vice  versa.  Equivalent values  are
also provided such as how many feet in a Fathom.

The command may be entered without any parameters:

             WRKMETRIC

A menu is displayed that allows a selection of:

       - Distance
       - Weight
       - Area
       - Liquid volume (capacity)

Each selection  provides a  work display where  one or more  values may
be  entered.  When the Enter key  is pressed, the values are converted.

In some cases, a value like Gallons  has both a US and a UK  definition
(which differ).  US values are provided unless specifically stated.

Rounding  differences will  occur on  some  values.   For example,  500
Liters  converts  to 132.09  Gallons,  but 132.09  Gallons  converts to
500.02 Liters.

Each work display  provides the  F6 command key  to allow  access to  a
list of  Equivalent  values for  the same  subject.   For example,  how
many feet in milligrams in a carat.

WRKMETRIC escape messages you can monitor for

None.  Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.

Command parameters                                    *CMD
------------------

   TYPE          The  type of  conversion  display  to be  shown.   The
                 default  is *MENU which  allows all of  the options to
                 be entered.

                 *DISTANCE may be  entered to display the  work display
                 for distance conversions.

                 *WEIGHT  may be  entered to  display the  work display
                 for weight conversions.

                 *AREA  may be entered to display  the work display for
                 area conversions.

                 *VOLUME may  be entered  to display  the work  display
                 for volume conversions.
