Collect Your System's Information

Serial Number, Processor Group, Operating System Release

Specific system information is needed for ordering a new license and determining a new license price. You can get the serial number, processor group, and operating system release by using the WRKLICINF command. It will show

• System Serial Number at top of screen
• Processor Group at top of screen
• Operating System release in the first line of the license table

Note that the WRKLICINF command is shipped as PUBLIC(*EXCLUDE). You may need to get authority from your security officer to run it.
