CLNTAATEMP CLEAN TAA TEMPORARY FILES TAATMPB |
The Clean TAA Temporary Files command does a cleanup function of
certain files in the TAATOOL library. CLNTAATEMP should be used
periodically (e.g. weekly) to reduce the amount of space taken by
these files.
The files cleaned up are those used by the TAA tools:
ALCTMPMBR
CHGBIGPARM
The command would typically be entered as:
CLNTAATEMP
The command must access files that are excluded from public use and
remove members. Therefore, the tool must be created by the Security
Officer or a member of his group so that the command processing
program can adopt the owners authority. The user of CLNTAATEMP must
have *ALLOBJ authority or be authorized to the TAACLNTEMP
authorization list.
Any records in the BIGPARM file that are older than 2 days are
deleted.
A minimum of 3 members exists in each of the TAATMPxxxx files. If a
member beyond the minimum has not been used in 15 days, the member is
removed. Any members that have data and can be allocated in the
TAATMPxxxx are cleared.
