CVTCTLHOST CONVERT CONTROLLER HOST DESCRIPTION TAACFGY |
The Convert Controller Host Description command converts one,
generic, or all host controller descriptions to an outfile. This
provides a simple method of processing the information. The outfile
name is always CTLHOSTP. The model file is TAACFGYP with a format
name of CTLHOSTR.
A typical command would be:
CVTCTLHOST CTLD(*ALL) OUTLIB(QTEMP)
Only the Host controller descriptions (type HOST) would be converted
to the CTLHOSTP outfile in QTEMP.
CVTCTLHOST escape messages you can monitor for

TAA9893 No Host controllers exist
Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.
CVTCTLHOST Command parameters *CMD
-----------------------------
CTLD The controller description to be converted. A
single description, a generic name, or *ALL for all
Host controller descriptions may be entered. Only
controller descriptions of type HOST will be
converted.
OUTLIB The library in which the file CTLHOSTP will be
placed. The default is *LIBL. If the CTLHOSTP file
does not already exist, a library must be named.
OUTMBR The member of the CTLHOSTP file to be used. The
default is CTLHOSTP. If the member does not exist
it is added.
REPLACE A *YES/*NO value for whether the member should be
cleared before writing records into it. The default
is *YES.
*NO may be specified to add records to any existing
data.
