DSPJOBLOG4 DISPLAY JOB LOG 4 TAASPOB |
The Display Job Log 4 command allows a user who has specific *USE
authority to the TAASPLSEC authorization list to be able to display
any job log on the system. Program adopt and group adopt are not
considered valid. If the job is active, a prompt occurs for the use
of Display Job Log.
A typical command would be:
DSPJOBLOG4 JOB(xxx)
The job log for the requested job would be displayed. If duplicate
jobs exist, a display appears where the user can select the job to
display the job log for.
Two choices are offered for displaying the job log:
** DSPSPLF - The system command
** DSPJOBLOG3 - TAA command to display messages in a subfile
The choice can be made on the command with the DSPCMD parameter or if
a display of duplicate jobs appears, the choice can be made using
different options. If the job is not active, DSPJOBLOG is used.
Security considerations
-----------------------
The user of the command must have specific *USE authority to the
TAASPLSEC Authorization List. This prevents an *ALLOBJ special
authority user from performing the function.
Program adopt and group adopt are not considered when checking for
*USE.
However, you cannot prevent an *ALLOBJ special authority user from
authorizing himself to the TAASPLSEC authorization list. If you are
auditing changes to for authorization lists, this will create an
audit record.
