The Convert  TAA Format command  is used to  convert from a  prior data
base format  to a new format for specific  TAA Tools.  Most conversions
occur automatically when the TAA Productivity Tools are installed.

Some  tools  such  as  SPLARC  require  data  base  files  (created  by
CRTSPLARC) that will  contain user  data.  When  the definition of  the
files change, a conversion is required.

Conversion  occurs automatically  when the  TAA Productivity  Tools are
installed.   However, if  you restore an  old version of  the file, you
may be required to run the conversion using the CVTTAAFMT command.

If conversion  is required, you  will see  a message  stating that  the
CVTTAAFMT  command must  be  entered by  a  user  with *ALLOBJ  special
authority.

A typical command would be:

           CVTTAAFMT   TOOL(SPLARC) LIB(xxx)

The library is where your version of the files are located.

Reformatting  occurs by using the  TAA RPLPF command,  copying the data
to the new  format, and running  a fix-up program.   Any logical  files
are rebuilt automatically.

Command parameters                                    *CMD

   TOOL          The tool  name that is  to have its  data reformatted.
                 Only  the  tools SPLARC,  SPLCTL,  SPLSTO, JOBACG  are
                 supported.

   LIB           The  library where the files  associated with the tool
                 are located.

Restrictions
------------

You must have *ALLOBJ special authority to use CVTTAAFMT.
