DSPSYS DISPLAY SYSTEM TAASYSK |
The Display System command is designed for those users who operate on
different systems and need a quick way of viewing a summary of the
important information about the system.
A typical command is entered as:
DSPSYS
The information displayed includes the system name, serial number,
release, model, main storage size, ASP1 size, etc.
Command parameters *CMD
------------------
PTFPKG A *YES/*NO value that determines whether the last
i5/OS cumulative PTF package ID and date will be
provided. *NO is the default. If *YES is
specified, the PTF information is extracted by using
the DSPPTF outfile which can take a good deal of
time to provide.
LIC PTFs are not considered. If you apply the
normal cumulative package which includes both LIC
and i5/OS, there is no difference.
OUTPUT How the output should be displayed. * means a
display appears if the command is used
interactively. If the command is run in batch or
*PRINT is specified, a spooled file named SYSTEM is
output.
